Doberman Pinscher Rescue

The Doberman Pinscher Rescue is usually a non-profit organization that aims to find a loving, peaceful and secure home for every Doberman pinscher. Their main task is to rescue dogs from puppy mills or shelters. Sometimes pups and dogs are surrendered through various surrender programs. The Doberman pinscher rescue also works with other organizations towards achieving this goal. Educating the public regarding Doberman Pinschers is also a large part of the rescue's endeavor. Mainly, the rescue acts as a bridge between the dog and thousands of families that look for a loving pet.

The majority of Dobes are loving and gentle. They adapt well to home life and thoroughly enjoy human companionship. Keeping the dogs safe and healthy is the first priority of any rescue. By observing the dogs and training them while they are with the rescue, the basic temperament and the needs of the dog is understood well. This allows the rescue to match the dog well with prospective owners. Thus, the chances of a mismatch are greatly reduced. This increases the chance of the dog finding a companion who lasts a lifetime.

A reputable Doberman rescue keeps up to date on all vaccinations. The dogs are given all the necessary shots and are given a thorough medical check up on arrival. Many rescues will spay or neuter all dobermans before they place the dogs with the new families. Any sick dog is treated in isolation and is kept strictly away from the rest of the community till they have recovered completely. This reduces the risk of any epidemic, while ensuring the perfect health of dogs that find placement.

Doberman rescues are always looking for help in any form, be it monetary or otherwise. Most rescues require dog food, blankets, soft toys, trash bags, biscuits and such things on a daily basis. There is always a shortage for these items. Similarly, most rescues are also looking for volunteers who can help exercise the dogs, or look for prospective owners. Doberman pinscher rescues also have a comprehensive stock of Doberman related goods. This is mostly accumulated from the various Club shows and other charity events hosted by the rescue. Fund raising is a vital part of the rescue's activities. This is mostly done through various events that are held from time to time. Many of the dogs in the rescue are prime specimens that need just a little training to make them prime stock.

Doberman Rescues are the last hopes of dogs that have been sadly abandoned by their owners. Saving such dogs from more misery and spreading some happiness in their lives is a rescue's main objective. By ensuring the dog's health and providing them with training and other conditions, every Doberman pinscher rescue aspires to find the right home for these loving and lovable pets.
